The MAGELLAN consortium includes European leading Research Institutes/Universities, large companies and SMEs, while regrouping three complementary categories of partners, with a trans-national and multi-cultural dimension.

• End-Users: they are creative SME organisations carefully selected for the quality of their expertise, and their strong interest in the creation of location-based experiences.
• Research Organisations: they are world-class research institutions that carry out the foundational scientific research of the MAGELLAN project. These well-established research centres and universities provide the required expertise in local positioning an telecommunication systems, video based tracking technologies, Augmented Reality gaming interfaces, as well as game scenarios and user requirements.
• Commercial companies: The consortium also includes leading European companies with world-class expertise in the field of interactive storytelling and authoring tools, innovative User Interfaces as well as scalable web platforms and mobile systems.
